Absolutely one of the classiest figures in college coaching circles. I look forward to him reaching the 250 win milestone against the Colonials of Robert Morris on October 15. |

Re: OT: All things Purple Fam
He certainly has the respect from of a lot fans of fcs football. I was looking for a respected coach saying something about him. I was just pointing out that coaches could do him more justice than fans could. It seems like he is a class act and has a lot of respect from everything he has done over the years. I read an interview about him. He is def a class act.

Re: OT: All things Purple Fam
What an amazing and exciting game. The first OT Syracuse had possession the ENTIRE time. UA did not get a possession. Cuse had 7 shots during that time and the UA goalie (a freshman making his college debut) made a couple really nice saves. The 3 Thompsons had a total of 18 points. SICK! Albany had never beaten Syracuse in LAX, 0-10, and pulled this one out in a big way! Cuse WAS 14-0 under their current coach in their home opener. 16 goals is the most goals scored against Cuse in 6 years. Just a great win. Something to build on. Great stuff!

Re: OT: All things Purple Fam
Apparently the rule changes to increase scoring this year are working.
Who'dve thought the first AE lacrosse win this year would be over Syracuse?

Re: OT: All things Purple Fam
Most concussions clear up in a few days, but some can last much longer. They are certainly nothing to fool around with. A Binghamton player had a career-ending string of concussions a few years back -- and the NFL is finally starting to recognize the impact of multiple concussions.
I hope everything works out for Hooley and that he is back out on the floor soon. |
