One of the problems Kilpatrick hasn't adjusted to yet this year is facing D1 ball defense. Needs to be stronger with the basketball, as evidence by that play.
UVM playing a bit sloppily and with less intensity than in the 1st half. Now UMBC trail only by 10, 50-40. Cook for UMBC now has 10 second-half points. Timely TO by Becker, hopefully he'll get the Vermont boys woken up and straightened out..
UMBC announcers complaining that UVM has been fouled the last 4 or 5 possessions... 10 points without a field goal.. "Why don't we just save some time and give them free throws?"
Looks like UVM is going to withstand some nice attempts by UMBC to rally. Credit them for not giving up. Getz hit some big shots in the second half, so did Neller.
I watch the players not the scoreboard. Their was a drop off in intensity in the second half on both ends of the floor.
