Re: UVM @ UMBC

Sandro with a couple missed 3's early and then had 2-3 more wide open that he passed up, shot faked drove and then kicked back out. Looks like after the few missed 3's in combo with last game he's starting lose a little confidence in that shot.

It's good to see them play good defense against teams that are not at the top of the standings. It shows that they are learning to play with a consistent effort no matter the opponent.

Re: UVM @ UMBC

Voelkel holds Cook to 0 pts first half. Voelkel has done a good job shutting down some players this year.

UMBC plays hard right to the end. Even at 47 to 33, UVM really isn't home free.

UMBC hanging around, 47-35. UVM not pulling away.

Re: UVM @ UMBC

One of the problems Kilpatrick hasn't adjusted to yet this year is facing D1 ball defense. Needs to be stronger with the basketball, as evidence by that play.

Great take and shot by Sandro. Hopefully that gets his outside shot going.

Re: UVM @ UMBC

Cook nails an open 3 and it's UVM 50-40. UVM playing incredibly lax on offense, not really passing the ball well. Giving the ball away.

Re: UVM @ UMBC

UVM playing a bit sloppily and with less intensity than in the 1st half. Now UMBC trail only by 10, 50-40. Cook for UMBC now has 10 second-half points. Timely TO by Becker, hopefully he'll get the Vermont boys woken up and straightened out..
