Re: SBU apparently gets waiver to Host AE Title Game at Pritchard (if it gets there obviously)
ESPN wants the small college packed house rushes the court because it's their 1st dance. Great fodder for SportsCenter. UMO has also asked for a waiver for The PIT

ESPN is running the show just in case you guys can't put 2 & 2 together. That's what happens when u get into bed with ESPN 3. ESPN knows exactly what I know, and that is that SBU will be hosting. Any takers?

The belly aching in this thread is ridiculous. The championship game will be held at the higher seed. If you have a problem with it possibly being played at Stony Brook, your team should win more conference games than them and earn the right to host.

Re: SBU apparently gets waiver to Host AE Title Game at Pritchard (if it gets there obviously)
If I was a SBU fan I wouldn't be happy. SBU at this point seems like the team that is going to end up going to the NCAA regardless of where they play, but I wouldn't want to get there by getting favorable treatment by the AE, it makes it seems like less of an accomplishment. Will put that "what-if" feeling in AE fans minds.

The more I think about it the less I care, it will be less of a homecourt advantage then any home game they have had all year. The visiting team still gets there 600 tickets right?

The AE just came out and said because of the size of the gym, the visiting team only gets 2 tickets, one for the opposing team wife and one for one lucky fan. The cheerleaders are not welcome either.

Villani just Tweeted visiting team would get 280-300 tickets if Pritchard/SBU hosts, so there you go.
That's a serious home court advantage.
