Tournament Tiebreakers
Hi everyone,
I know there's a post like this every year, but I wasn't able to find the answer as to what the third tiebreaker would be between two teams with the same conference record. Just taking a quick look at the standings, if Binghamton were to win at UNH and at UMBC (a big if, I know) and UNH lost out, then both Binghamton and UNH would would have three conference wins. 1st tiebreaker - H2H (both would have beaten each other once) 2nd tiebreaker - Record against top teams in conference (they both would have a win against each other, Maine and UMBC) 3rd tiebreaker - ? Does anyone know what the third tiebreaker is? Thanks ahead of time. |

Re: Tournament Tiebreakers
This from a thread a few years ago:
1. H2H 2. Strength of victory (if two teams are tied, the team with more wins against the third place team gets the tiebreaker) 3. Road winning % (in the league) 4. Higher RPI (according to College RPI Report) 5. Coin flip

Re: Tournament Tiebreakers
I don't think College RPI report exists anymore does it? The only RPI sites I know of now, other than the one the NCAA releases once/week, are:
www.realtimerpi.com www.rpiforecast.com
