With so many poor quality teams in the AE this season, it will be difficult for the better teams not to put up eye-popping in-conference records and also difficult for the better of the bad teams not to finish at or near .500
The other seven coaches in the league, not wanting them to go anywhere, vote Herrion and Woodward co-coaches of the year. Their AD's pick up on this and give them both long contract extension.
I think now is a good time to bring this up again.
We have won by an average of 27 points in our first 4 conference games. My only real concerns moving forward are Stony Brook, and Possibly Hartford. Hell UML could give us another good game.
Post the conference record you think your team will finish with.
I think 15-1 or 14-2 wins this conference. It's clear sbu and uvm are the favorites but with 4 bottom feeders (not including Lowell in this) plus UML, that's 10 wins right there. Between Hartford and Albany I could see either UVM or SBU going 3-1 or 4-0. The two of them will most likely split. It's also possible that one of them drops a stinker too but realistically looking at where the league is I think the #2 seed is going to be 14-2 and the #1 15-1 or 14-2.
The tie breaker will be important this year as I could see a tie at 14-2
I don't see Vermont sweeping SBU and I don't see SBU sweeping Vermont.
I say 14-2 wins conference play.
