Lamb and Henson great first half.

Need to guard Mathias..he's been the difference for Purdue.

37-36 Purdue at the half. Within striking distance.

Lamb is our leading scorer (?)

Re: Vermont vs Purdue

Can you imagine if Purdue was as well coached as UVM?

Changed my mind, dude is going to have options after tonight. This is a team playing at its peak - yes we could play a bit better - but damn. Hell of an effort out there - we won't lose this game for effort that is sure. Anyone with two dang eyes see we are OUT WORKING these fools.

He was putting quite a bit of weight on it walking to the locker room. Hopefully just a sprain.

Without the points of either team's respective top scorer, the other team is in the lead!

Purdue a 5 1/2-point second half favorite.

Lamb Henson and TBH need to play tons of minutes in the second half.

The good news is that no catamount has more than one foul. Haas is a gigantic human, but he's not a basketball player.

UVM is really hawking the ball and PU isn't used to it. If Swanigan can't get the ball Swanigan can't score. The same for Mathias.

Anthony Lamb REALLY hates to lose, and he's playing like it. And he IS a basketball player.

I can't help but worry that either Henson or Lamb is gonna get gassed dealing with Purdue's gigantic front line. We're gonna need another player to step up. Was hoping it was gonna be Steidl, but now...I'm looking at you Ernie Duncan - gonna need some of those 3's to drop.

So what do we do without Kurt? Will Drew see time? Just need one more basket than Purdue in the second half.

TBH leading us with five rebounds, also five assists. Lamb in full beast mode, four rebounds, three steals, one block and fourteen points.

Bit surprised at the crowd. Nowhere near full.
