Just waiting for something interesting to report. Pissing or measuring contests do not qualify.

Re: Is the forum broken?

It's always dead until mid-June, when the first non-conference scheduling starts trickling in. Until then, it's the usual pissing contests, and quite frankly, I'm surprised Albany and Stony Brook haven't done their's yet.

Of course if you want something to talk about, the AE Baseball tournament ends tomorrow.

Re: Is the forum broken?

It's so apparent that Vermont has a stranglehold on the AE for at least the next 3 years that there is no point in anyone else posting. Congrats on 4 in a row!

I wish Stonybrook fans (or those of any other team) would start posting and trash talking a little bit. With the UA BPF board fairly active, this board has become only marginally more than just a VT Fan board. I wouldn't post here at all if VT wasn't so good right now and their fans so much fun to argue with. If you ask current UA students who their biggest rival in the league is: most would say SBU is the enemy, but with me being a little older, VT is still the nemesis I most like to root against.

Way to Early Prediction for Next Season Conference Records:

1. Albany - 15-1, Loss at Patrick Gym

2. VT - 14-2, Loss at UA and one other upset to a low team. They will start 7-0 or something like that before the big upset ending their conference win streak. I am thinking it will be Bing

3. UMBC - 12-4

4. NH - 11-5

5. SBU - 10-6

6. UML - 9-7 - will be respectable in first real season

7-9. Bing/Hartford/Maine - Will any of these teams get more than 5 wins?

VT Beats UA in Albany in a rematch of last year and after an extremely close game to return to the NCAA they win in the first round of the NCAA tournament in the 13/4 game and lost a close game in the round of 32.

SBU fans seemed to have left when Pikiell/Warney did- at least from this board. For most of the past 5 or so seasons the second largest group of posters after Vermont was definitely Stony Brook- now, only a few seem to still post here. Not sure why that is, but def is the case now.

This is normal dog days of summer stuff. It's almost June, late signing period is over. There is only so much we can argue about Will Brown's JUCO problem.

So, you're saying that Bing and SBU's lead the league in "one and dones"?!

I always thought that had more to do with the immediate collapse of the Broadus regime/ensuing circus/ensuing dumpster fire...which, is completely understandable.

It's like the polar opposite of the aftermath of Pikiell/Warney- SBU has an exciting BCS assistant, new arena, and finished 2nd in conference play. Not sure why so many jumped ship but...there's not many left today when there's seemingly a lot still to be excited about/SBU on firm footing.
