Bon Jovi might be on to something though. He's bringing in a ton of Predators to make up their team. Earnest Allen, Mike Brown, E.J. Burt, Reggie Doster, and Kevin Gaines are all ex-Preds.
As far as the War on I-4, that's definitly the best rivalry in Arena Football. You won't find a better atmosphere in the AFL.

Re: Favorite team?
Yeah, I've never been to a game.. I wouldn't mind my first being one of those. I don't know why the league doesn't put more of a focus on that rivalry now that the league is on NBC, like it did when it was on TNN.
For anyone who questions the credibility of the league, I suggest they watch one of those games between the Storm and Preds. I always used to watch just for fun, but it's those games that made me a fan.
I've never been to a game before (which sucks since the team has been here two years now) I'm definitely going to have to change that.

It's all about money. Now that they're on NBC, which plays a limited number of games, the league would rather hype up completely fake rivalries like the Soul & Crush because there's big ownership names involved and they're bigger markets. They don't think anyone would care about two teams in a couple mid-sized cities that are only 80 miles apart. They ignore most of the league's history, only bringing it up when it's convenient. Like if the Preds & Storm face off in a playoff game or something. That's the only time a real rivalry with history will get any attention.

Yeah, it's sad and I disagree with that. I also hate how they followed the NFL format and put Dallas in the same division as the teams in the East. Let the league develop it's own identity, since there's really no connection between the AFL and NFL fanbase. You know? Let the rivalries develop in this league, naturally like they used to.
I can't be completely upset, because NBC's coverage is a lot better than I figured it would be, but they need to learn how to cover how important things are.

Re: Favorite team?
The Utah Blaze. They're going to be fun....and thank God TPTB didn't do the usual Utah naming gig: They didn't end the team's name with double Zs...like Jazz, Grizz, Starzz, Blitzz. That gimmick got old a long time ago.

Re: Favorite team?
Right Now:
UIF - Peoria RoughRiders
But in 2 months:
UIF Bloomington Extreme
I usually go to the Peoria games but my sister lives in Bloomington, IL and they are getting an Arena Football team soon.. She may get season tickets so I may go to a few.. Bloomington will be in Peoria's division and that's pretty cool..
And I'm sorta new but know that Peoria isnt in the afl2 anymore.. I dont care what league's they are in, it's still fun to see
