Avengers prove to be easy prey for Orlando

The Orlando Predators had a season-high 84 yards rushing and five touchdowns in a 59-34 victory over the visiting Avengers on Sunday.

The Predators (4-2) never trailed, and took the lead for good on Jimmy Fryzel's 21-yard scoring reception that made it 14-7 with 5:55 remaining in the first quarter. Jeroid Johnson returned an interception 36 yards for a touchdown, and Marlon Moye-Moore ran for the first of his two scores to make it 28-7 with 9:44 left in the first half.

Kevin Nagle and Javarus Dudley each had 29 yards rushing and a touchdown to lead Orlando, and Moye-Moore had 16 yards.
Sonny Cumbie was 24-for-43 passing for 295 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Avengers (1-5).

• Crush 66, Rampage 54: Willis Marshall had 275 all-purpose yards and Damian Harrell caught five touchdown passes for Colorado (4-1) at Denver. Chad Salisbury passed for 350 yards and six touchdowns for Grand Rapids (2-2).

• Desperados 59, Rush 42: Clint Dolezel threw five TD passes and ran for another score to lead visiting Dallas. Dolezel completed 25 of 32 passes for 221 yards to help Dallas (5-1) match the best start in franchise history. Chicago is 3-3.

• Gladiators 67, Soul 49: Joe Douglass and Marcus Nash each scored three touchdowns for host Las Vegas (2-4). Marcus Knight led Philadelphia (3-3) with nine receptions for 131 yards.

• Storm 69, Brigade 59: Bobby Sippio had nine receptions for 129 yards and four touchdowns for visiting Tampa Bay (4-2). Steve Smith set franchise records with 124 yards receiving and four touchdowns for Kansas City (1-5).
