To John and really everyone
As long as people call Shareef
the Hawks best player we aren't
going to win.Shareef is the biggest
choker ever.The law of averages
say most games are going to be
close....Shareef doesn't come up
big when the game is decided....Trade him!
IF
Paul Pierce
Vince Carter
Allen Iverson
Shaqw
Kobe
Tmac
Payton
Webber
Dirk
Duncan
Kidd
Unless we have one of these guys
on our roster we aint doing nothing
So forget about minor players like
Tony Parker/Speedy Claxton because
we need a real star that will step up!

Paul Pierce - Ball hog, hurts team chemistry, and is in major shooting slump. If you've been watching him since the Nets series last season, you'd notice how bad he's shooting now.
Vince Carter - Please be kidding. This guy's contract is worse than Reef's. He's also injured... again. He'll never be the same again. He's lost a step or two, and he'll never be able to dunk with ease like he used to. He's the second Penny Hardway.
Allen Iverson - We already have Jason Terry. Besides, sixers won't give them up for anything.
Shaq - In your dreams. This guy is staying in LA. -_- They won't let him go.
Kobe - Hello? 3-8 without Shaq? This guy is worse than Reef when it comes to carrying teams!
T-Mac - In your dreams again. Orlando is gonna keep him no matter what.
Payton - This guy has around 2 good seasons left in him. He's getting old, though he may refuse to believe it. By the time we sign him, he's gonna be pretty useless.
Webber - Bigger choker than Reef. Threw the western conference finals away last season. Also VERY expensive.
Dirk - Stop dreaming already. He's one of the big 3 in Mavs, the only unbeaten team in the league. He's not going anywhere.
Duncan - Yeah, we should try to get this guy, but face it, it's impossible. The guy is too expensive.
Kidd - This guy is not going anywhere, now that he led the Nets into the finals.
Dude, these ppl you just listed are either worse than Reef, or just too impossible to obtain.

All those guys are better than Shareef.
He isn't even useful the whole game.
I know we can't get any of those
guys...and because of it the Hawks
will be the failure the team has
always been.Tank the season and
go for LaBron James.

Heck no! Reef is at least better than Paul Pierce, Vince Carter! Those 2 haven't been doing anything for their teams!

Reef is not god, but he IS a great player. I never said he's better than Kobe skill-wise, just that he's better at carrying teams...
I am a celtics fan, and I like Paul Pierce, but let's face it, Pierce was unstoppable last season... all until the nets series. Ever since then, he's never been the same. His consistency is gone, and quite frankly I'd rather have Delk shoot the 3 now. I like the celtics a lot, but I don't like PP so much anymore.
VC is like Penny now. He's lost his knees, and when he returns, he'll be a mediocre player, at best. The once high flying SG is never gonna be back. Without his jumps, VC is just any normal player.
Oh, and Payton is better than Reef. I disagree.

Pierce has a had a couple of bad games and a bad playoff series that doesn't mean he still isn't great it's just now he faces a double team almost everytime he touches the ball. Reef never faces double teams and at the end of games he passes off shots, he's scared to make the big play. There's no way Reef is better than any of those guys. VC got injured and now all of a sudden he's not good anymore. Reef has never carried a team this will most likely be the first year his team will make the playoffs. Kobe has less talent around him with Shaq out then reef has now.

I dunno... Paul Pierce was damn streaky last year... I still like him, but it's just hard to believe that he's the same person who led C's deep into the playoffs last season. The guy is shooting horribly. He's been shooting horribly for over half a year now, so it makes one wonder if last year was just a fluke for this guy. Yeah, maybe it's because he gets double teamed, but he can't even hit the freethrows? O_0
VC is injured, but even before his injuries,(look at the team record after the all-star weekend last season, and earlier this season), you can tell he wasn't the same player. Raptors were losing with him on the team. At first I told myself that the team was just going through a slump, but it's obvious to me now that Vince can't lead the raptors. The guy has lost it. If you've been watching any raptor games earlier this season, you would know. He promised to come back with vengence, but instead he came back with a worst than ever raptor team. All he's done this season was dunking in Duncan's face. They didn't even win that game...
Reef has always had pretty bad supporting cast. In the Grizz, he didn't have Bibby until the last 2 seasons there, and had Terry when he came here. It's not until this year that his cast looks decent. Right now he's still uncomfortable in winning, or near-winning situations, because he's never been there. He's never had to play clutch until now. Give him time, and he'll learn how to play clutch. When he does, the hawks would be winning a lot more games.
