Well it finally happened. Lon Kruger has been fired from the Atlanta Hawks today. After the ownerships playoff gurantee or your money back gig before the season started and then the teams lackluster start Kruger has been fired.

Well it won't hurt them, that is for sure. Playoffs are not a possibility IMHO, and the Hawks future is bleak. But I wonder who they will eventually bring in as the new coach

Hawks can make the playoffs! I highly believe they are capable. Just get a better coach. How can anybody not be able to win with Terry, Reef, Ratliff, and Big Dog? Playoffs shouldn't be a problem when the 8th seed is led by a retiring MJ and Stackhouse.
