Kukoc or Newble? Johnson or Glover?
Who do you think should be the starting SF on opening day, Toni Kukoc or Ira Newble? Toni brings good passing ability, court vision and offense while Ira brings heart, rebounding, and good defense.
Who do you think should be the starting SG on opening day, Dermarr Johnson or Dion Glover? DerMarr brings size, good defense and rebounding and a nice outside shot while Dion brings lots of offense and the ability to create his own shot.

PG:Jason Terry
SG:Ira Newble
SF ermarr Johnson
PF:Shareef Abdur Rahim
C:Theo Ratliff
This is unless a trade is made.I have a feeling a
trade is going to happen so don't expect that to
be the starting lineup.

Jason Terry
Dion Glover
Dermarr Johnson
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Theo Ratliff
With Johnson supposedly adding 15lbs of muscle in the off-season, and with Glover's supposed extra effort on defense this offseason.. this should be the starting 5, and I don't think a trade will be made.
Nobody wants our scrubs, and all our players with value haven't even reached their prime yet.

I disagree,Dion Glover is not a starter in the NBA.
There is a rumor Nazr Mohammad for Mike Miller
deal that could go down.It was reported the
the Orlando newspaper. It could go down once
Nazr losses his BYC status on his contract.

Best lineup for Hawks:
PG-Dickau
SG-Jason Terry
SF-Dermarr Johnson
PF-Shareef Abdur-Rahim
C-Theo ratliff
Question: Is Ratliff healthy yet? He has been injured for one and a half years now.

How can anybody with NBA knowledge suggest Dickau/Terry
start???????Dan is 6'0 and Terry is 6'1...That is too damn
small.
Screw Dan Dickau.I'm already wishing we had not drafted
this little white dork.

You didn't draft him. You traded for him.
How can anyone with any NBA knowledge say that the Hawks drafted Dan Dickau?!

You obviously haven't seen him play yet. He was great at Gonzaga, and in the SL, no one wants to hear your babbling about how Dan Dickau sucks.

So that is all you have to offer in response to be dumb for wanting
to start two 6 footers?Don't bring up the Kings because we have
less than half the talent on our roster that they have.
I think it shows more than I really don't care if we drafted or
traded for him.Heck,I already had the TV turned off before
the first round was over and the trade was made.
Besides 99% of people don't follow the Hawks so alot may
no know that....It's alot different than wanting to start two
6 footers. That is common knowledge for most.

Yeah I saw him lose his man on defense.I saw a slow white
american guy that everyone wants to overrate. He also shot
pretty bad in the summer league and I seen nothing
impressive about him
Who cares about Gonzaga?Heck,Ed Gray averaged 25PPG
in college but was out of the league in two years. While
I don't expect Dan to be out of the NBA I see a Jacque
Vaughn type of career.
Dickau=Slow white american player that will be a backup.
Jacque Vaughn with a better shot.
Comparing him to Brooks and others isnt fair. But I believe
he will be alittle like Vaughn...A nice change of pace backup
that will bring entergy and alittle shooting.
Jason Terry is our starting PG and will be for 10 years.IF if
came to deciding between the two Dan would be gone
before he could count to three.

You want to know what is funny?
So many of
Dan Dickau
Kareem Rush
Freddie Jones
Steve Logan
Chris Jefferies
Has a draft ever had so many great players late in a
draft? This has to be the best draft ever.lol
For every Tony Parker there is alot more late first
round nobodies like Ed Gray/Roshown McLoed
and others.

Being honest,I don't want Dan here because I know Lon
Kruger likes to play small ball but does it WAY too much.
Plus Dan is always a threat to JT.I'd hate to see JT being
traded because of Dan.There is a possibly Dan could be
the starting PG and Terry traded for a SF so that Dermarr
can play SG.
I'd just hate to lose the heart and soul of our team.Terry
is more Atlanta than Shareef Abdur Rahim is to me any
way.
