Yeah.
It would've cost Josh Smith. Atlanta is better not trading away their best young player.

Re: Why Dodn't We Go After T.j Ford!!!
This just shows you what the market is for a quality point guard.I can imagine that a lot of Raptors' fans are squealing like little piggies right now,but you aren't going to get a player like TJ Ford for two second round draft picks and Donta Smith.
Really Ford is a very entertaining point guard who is great on the break, but he's not a top tier PG.He's not very efficient. When you compare his performance last season to Mo Williams' you can see why Ford was expendable. He would have fit in really well with Atlanta or any team with good athletes.

I think Toronto was smart now to trade Villanueva. This is the highest his trade value will be at his entire career, IMO. Colangelo is a great GM.

Well, you'd be making a trade with the Bucks and they probably wouldn't want Harrington. Unless, Rap fans are saying they'd trade Ford for Harrington which couldn't work, unless you S/T him and got a bigger contract to fill out Al's, depending on cap space situation actually.

I don't know ATL, I thought Charlie would only get better. Maybe I'm just bias because of the Brooklyn connection, but jeez they just got the kid. It's also no guarantee that Bosh is going to stay with them down the line, only time will tell if this was a good move by Toronto.

Aldridge, they were working out together before the draft, and are from the same area in Texas.
