possible Indiana Sign/Trade?
On RealGM, they mention Indiana being interested in Al Harrington now that Peja's al but signed with New Orleans - they mention the possiblity of a S/T.
What situations seem plausible?
Al Harrington for Tinsley and a big? (such as Foster?) Throw in Royal Ivey so they have some depth?
(i know Tinsley's not the best prospect, but i'm trying to be realistic, and they're not gonna be giving up O'Neal, Granger, Williams or White, or Jackson - none of whom, apart from O'Neal, Atlanta could really use anyway)
How about Anthony Johnson and filler? - Antony Johnson and Greg Foster for Al Harrington, fills needs for both teams: Atlanta get rebounding and a distributor, Indiana get a starter quality 3, who can also slide to the 4 to let the rookies play.
RealGM also mention that Atlanta's targeted Mike James, but he is unlikely to sign there.

Re: possible Indiana Sign/Trade?
The package would have to include Jamaal Tinsley and Jeff Foster, IMO. Indiana will probably have to give the Hawks a first round pick to get the deal done though. I feel they will try to pawn off Stephen Jackson's contract, but I don't know if Billy will bite.
Tinsley would be a nice fit for the Hawks because of his defense and his high assists rate. He really wouldn't help their efficiency problem offensively due to the high number of turnovers he has had throughout his career. That may be somewhat offset by his defense though. Jamaal is one of the better defensive guards in the game. I'd like to see him get back to the way he played a year ago when Indiana had all their scorers suspended. Jamaal averaged 18.2 P/40 and 7.9 A/40 that season while posting a 18+ PER rating. His biggest problem overall has been his injury problems. Maybe in Atlanta, his minutes could be kept around 25-30 per game, because everyone knows that Joe Johnson will get some minutes at the point guard, as will Ty Lue.
Jeff Foster would be nice depth for down low and is a guy who can give us some rebounding and toughness off the bench.

Re: possible Indiana Sign/Trade?
I was originally gonna say Tinsley, but i wasn't sure how valuable he's considered, and was wary of the injury history.
But yeah, seeing as the Pacers managed most of last year without him, for them it's pretty much Foster for Harrington.
It'd be a good deal for both teams.

Highly doubt you'll get Tinsley, and/or Foster and a first rder. More like Tinsley possibility at something else. He is not worth a first rd being thrown in there either.

Correct. No 1st rounder wil be involved I can guarantee that, but Indiana is pushing very hard to re-aquire JO's best friend, and AL does want to come back.
Foster and perhaps Tinsley or AJ would probably be the initial offer, just depends on where it goes from there. Although Speedy signing today, changes ATL's needs a bit.
