Al Harrington for Tyson Chandler: Strong Possibility
Now that Ben Wallace has agreed to a contract with Chicago, the Bulls may look to add Al Harrington by trading Tyson Chandler in the process. Tyson Chandler has a big contract, but he is a strong rebounder and defender that, had he not been restricted, the Hawks probably would have signed him last offseason along with Joe Johnson. The ESPN article that mentions Wallace going to Chicago also mentions that Chicago has explored trade opportunities for Tyson Chandler with Atlanta in a possible Al Harrington for Tyson Chandler swap.

How are we going to keep our young stars with his huge contract, no in my opinion. Give him to the Hornets, they want him.

Re: Al Harrington for Tyson Chandler: Strong Possibility
I don't look at his contract as a cap killer. It's not like they would be picking up Allen Iverson's $18+ million. Chandler's average is $10 million per year, plus Joe Johnson's deal actually gets better for the Hawks as time goes back. Seeing as how those two deals will be the only long term deals on the roster, I don't think it will preclude the Hawks from giving Josh Smith and Marvin Williams the extensions they will warrant soon.

Re: Al Harrington for Tyson Chandler: Strong Possibility
I have 2 questions about Tyson Chandler coming to the hawks
1) is he going to make us a legit playoff team, If I'm Billy I don't want to get a player who make 10 millions that year and not even make the playoffs.
2) Is he going to take minutes away from marvin and Josh, because the last thing we need is Marvin sitting on te bench not developing and a bunch of trolls coming over here saying "ya'll should have pick C.Paul I'm getting tired of that. it hasn't happen alot recently but diring the season it seem like most of the time somebody posted here it was about Chris paul.
BTW if we get Chandler and start him should we start marvin, I ask this beacuse if we have Tyson playing the 5 and Shelden playing the 4 that's not a really good scoring frontline, that's a defensive mined frontline, I think you need to have aleast one good scorer in the 4/5 spot because J.J and Speedy ca't do all the scoring in the beggining of games. The hawks would find themselve usually trailing in the first half.

Tyson Chandler's contract is incredibly bad. If there's going to be a sign-and-trade, the Bulls better shovel 30 million dollars in cash mahnny with it.

Re: Al Harrington for Tyson Chandler: Strong Possibility
he's almost definitely going to the Hornets it seems.
And he's not a center, he's a PF. Just been forced to play out of position lots.
So yeah, he probably would take some minutes from Marvin

In that case no, for the hawks, but I'm also happy becasue i'm a pretty big hornets fan.

Re: Al Harrington for Tyson Chandler: Strong Possibility
the hawks need at least one starting 4 or 5 that can score 10+ points a game, they also need rebounding. why not go after carlos boozer, i heard he was on the block.

They have at least one in Zaza already. Shelden will probably get 10+ppg; Smith or Marvin probably get 10+ppg.

WOW, were going to have a lot of double digits scorers, you can add J.J, Speddy, and J.Chill to that list also.
