Bernie Mullin on the radio today ( lots of info hawks fans)
I read on another board that he was on the radio today and he said the following
*Muti-year issue may be resolved soon, but the whole deal may take up to 18 months
*NBA/NHL agreed this recent ruling is not healthy for any franchise and is ruling with the spirit group
* David Anderson will likeliy be sign this season and play with the team this year
* They can do muti year deals, they just have to get Belkins approval (I wonder who will make the call LOL)
* In the SAT for Harrington, Billy is looking for a young big 20-22 range

I can see them trying to move Al for Magloire now... Since Maggs have just a 1-year contract...

On Sixers board, someone posted an excerpt for the LA times, it said Hawks are offering Smith, Marvin and/or Harrington for Iverson.
I can't see this being true. It'd be pretty stupid though.

LOL, yeah. Sounds more like something Belkin would do. He'd probably throw in Joe Johnson out of spite or something.

Yeah. Can you imagine if that trade happened, and then Philadelphia got Oden. Jesus Chrsit.

Oh, man. That'd be insane. Although, if that went down you guys may be in the running more so than them.
Off the top of my head, the lineups would be
Iverson/Childress/Smith or Marvin/Shelden/Zaza?
Ollie?/JJ/Smith or Marvin or Harrington/Webber/Dalembert
Who's better?

If Steve Belkin trades away Josh Smith and Marvin Williams for Allen Iverson, I am done supporting this team. I know that much.
I see no reason to support a franchise that their number one objective is turning a profit, instead of building a basketball team.

Billy Knight has made some boneheaded moves before, but I don't think he be this stupid

Re: Bernie Mullin on the radio today ( lots of info hawks fans)
This Iverson trade doesn't seem really reliable since it's only one reporter saying it, you need to have alot of big names talking about it to be true, remember the Darko and Harrington trade, it was only reported by the NY Times and no one else and then we found out it wasn't true. Same with the Hou/ Atl and the Sea/Phe draft day trade, it was on draftexpress.com and we found out it wasn't true. Before I listen to this Bimbo, I want to hear it from other big names reporter. The team I do keep hearing though is GS, it seems they really want Harrington, I wonder what we could get from that team looking at that roster, the only one that I like is A. Biedrins.

This is being overlooked. I believe he could contribute from day 1.
