My response: Inconsistency. Smith plays well at times, but he has not improved the specific parts of his game that need improving for the Hawks to rely on him. He has not shown the work ethic, and still has not shown an understanding of team basketball, which is why Atlanta would not mind moving him.

I was sure this was going to be a thread about Screaming A Smith or Charlie Rosen. However, I can't say seeing Deveney's name is that surprising.

I think the improvement Smith saw from the beginning of the season to the end of the season was remarkable. Isn't that called work ethic? LOL. Maybe he got Josh Smith mixed up with JR Smith?

Yeah I read this article, and this guy sounds like a complete idiot. It amazes me how people like greg anthony, steven A. and this crackhead pertend to know so much about the hawks without even watching one single game.

I can't believe anyone would think a rebuilding team would trade a prospect like Josh Smith, that would be beyond counterproductive.
