A do it all player, who is capable of giving you 3 blocks a game.

That was my comparison for Josh, up until the end of last year. Josh has the abilities to be a much stronger offensive player than Andrei. And doesn't get hurt every year.

I don't know who I would compare him to, though.. I have to wait & see how he develops this year. Sekou Smith wrote in his blog last month that Josh looked like he had put on a lot of muscle.

AK's pretty damn athletic, so that comparison doesn't mean all that much.

Seriously, he's the first one that came to mind, but Smith doesn't get as many steals and his offensive game isn't very polished. AK usually shoots a pretty decent percentage. Josh caught fire late last season though, and I think he should be able to vastly improve offensively.

J-Smoove is a black AK47. Remember hes much younger than AK47, and hes better than him in this stage of his career. In his third year Josh Smith can surpass Andre Kirilenko. THe sky is the limit for Josh Smith.

I'd be reluctant to call Smith better just yet, unless you take injuries into account (but even then, AK's better when he's on the court). If he can sustain his play from late last season over an entire year, that'd be more reasonable.

Key words better in this stage of his career. At Smiths age, and experience 20 ,and 2nd year player he was better than AK47 at 20 or his second year.
