I Was looking at the box score of a few games and I looked atl...

I was wondering, what the hell are their starting 5 gonna look be?

I think Speedy will start at the 1, cuz that's why they got him, JJ will most likely continue to play the 2, but after that???

Josh Smith, Marvin Williams, Childress, Shelden Williams, Zaza

who's gonna play the 3,4,5?

Will zaza start or will Sheldon play the 5? or will Sheldon start the 4? if he does that means he starts over Marvin or Josh Smith?

Can the hawks starts both Josh Smith and Marvin Williams? Any of the two be able to play the 4 effectively? it seems to me the only legit PF on that roster is Sheldon...

Childress will come off the bench for sure. Other than that Marwin and Josh will be playing together at 3-4 at times but Shelden is going to get minutes at 4 too. I like the 9 rebs from the pre-season game. Zaza will mainly play the 5.

But yeah you're right. It will be intresting to see how the minutes are distributed. Atlanta is surprisingly deep team now.

No, I don't think he'll be the starter on opening day.

Shelden played okay (12 points, 9 rebounds) but I dont think he will be a starter

Shelden should come off the bench, he gets in foul trouble to early, and we can't have him on the bench towards the end of the game, where we'll really need him.

I wouldn't be suprise if Shelden starts at center later in the year, Zaza gets injured sometimes, and Shelden might do really well, and end up taking the starting spot over Zaza.

If the Hawks are running, which they should be doing, then starting Marvin or Josh at power forward is fine. If they revert to a half-court offense, they need Shelden. I prefer the former.
