I've heard on the news of water shortages in georgia, but talking to my dad who works down there, he said they actually cut off water access in houses to conserve for a period of time today.

That happen to anyone else?

I haven't heard of that happening.

They are shutting off people's water if they violate the restrictions after 1 warning and you have to pay a $1,000 fine to get it back on.

They were talking about some pretty drastic measures when I heard them talking about it on the news.Telling people what they could do in their own homes was supposed to be after industrial and agricultural restrictions.I guess the drought is a lot worse down there than it is here

We've been fortunate enough to get a few days of good rain last week,more rain than we'd had in the last three months fell in three days.
