Has Lunardi lost it?

Usually, he is someone who commands great respect from me. He isn't a BCS hack, he is usually very fair and balanced.

But looking at his updated bracket today, I really have to ask if this year has made his brain explode or something. Is this bracket a complete piss take? Is he just having a laugh?

Did he spend a little too much time celebrating the big Hawks win Thurs night and didn't have a chance to do a real analysis? Or maybe he was still on the sauce when he submitted this.

Honestly, is this year so crazy that this is an honest opinion of what the bracket would look like? Because from about the 9 or 10 seeds down, it looks like he just threw darts or something. Almost every single team he has in has glaring holes in it.

Because things are so close, are they just going to throw out the OOC portion for teams? Because a lot of the BCS schools he has in did nothing OOC, and not much in conf either. Even some non BCS teams he has in has me confused. Can anyone explain this?

Here's the thing - Joe Lunardi's (or anyone else's) analyses don't mean anything until probably an hour or two until selection Sunday.

I would be shocked if anyone was able to put together a field of 64 teams with unimpeachable resumes. There are going to be some stinker teams getting in this year from the Big Ten and ACC... there's a lot of basketball left to be played. Let's just see how things go.

Speaking of basketball left to play, this Louisville/Georgetown game I'm watching right now is an absolute war!
