Anyone want to play guard in a top 10 conference?

All you need to do is apply at www.gobonnies.com. I don't think any D1 program has less of a guard contingent signed up right now for next year than Bonas. Here is a complete list of your scholarship competition (excluding walk-ons):

Malcolm Eleby (6-1 Soph PG): per game stats: 13.4 min, 2.8 pts, 1.7 assts, 2.2 tos, 1.4 rebs.
Chris Matthews (6-4 JR WG): per game stats (at Wash St in 2007): 11.5 min, 3.7 pts, 0.5 assts, 1.4 rebs.

If that isn't a selling point for any unsigned guards, I don't know what is. For once, Bonas has a full contingent of frontcourt help for next year with 8 players between 6-6 and 6-10 (Carter, Haley, Benson, Morgan, Cook, Thomas, Simmons, Nicholson). What we need is some more good guard help. Anyone know anyone who wants immediate D1 playing time?

Hawks have at least one guard transfer every year. Grab one of those guys. You will have to wait a year before he can play.

Sounds like Schmidt might need to sign one JC guard. Bona should be looking to become solid by 09-10.
