Chris Lowe will be a real possibility. He will work with his uncle and Ben Gordon all summer on his jump shot. His improvement each year has been significant.

Hard to say if CW can make 1st or not. I think 2nd team is certainly a possibility. The guy is a double double player and will avg that in prob 2 of his last 3 years playing. I would expect preseason for him to be 2nd or 3rd team...how he'll finish, who knows?

Temple's Lavoy Allen will be a candidate for All-A10 and Ramon Moore should earn consideration for the All-Freshman team.

I dont think marcus johnson will ever average 15 and 8. i just dont think hes a consistent enough shooter or can pull that many boards. thats a lot of boards from his spot on the floor considering BGs 60pt pace.

15 and 8 are big numbers with any style of play but not outside of MJ's ability and probably more importantly his desire because the big part of 15 & 8 is the 8 boards. At 6'3 for MJ to avg 8 boards seems near impossible but MJ's progress in all areas was a thing of beauty this year. Once MJ began to believe he can take D1 defenders of all sizes off the dribble to the rim his O blossomed. And with new found confidence at the rim, his mid range jumper became more deadly and then late we saw more deep jumpers dropping. MJ has an unorthodox delivery but we've seen him become 1 of the Flyers most reliable guys at the line...anxious beyond anxious to see healthy Wright and MJ play 30 min a game together over the next 2 years.

Re: Favorites for All A10 Teams Next Year?

No way do I see Marcus ever getting 8 rebounds a game. That is just a massive number that a great power forward has a hard time posting. 15 points per game might not be out of reach by the end of his career, IMO. Marcus could score a lot if he went to the basket all the time like he did in the A10 tournament against Xavier. I felt like X had nobody who could match up with his speed and explosiveness going to the rim. He needs to drive and draw foul contact. That puts all of his strengths together. He can get a first step, elevate, draw contact on the shot, and nail the free throws. That was Roosevelt Chapman's game. Hang in the air and draw contact on the shot.

Marcus is becoming a joy to watch because he can do it all now.

UD is going to be very tough at shooting guard, small forward, and power forward next year. I think Huelsman made an adequate center, and rarely did we give up a big advantage at the position last year. That pg spot will be the key. I think London can do an adequate job at minimum, but even if he is our starter, he can't play a ton of minutes unless he cuts back on his fouls. So, one way or another we are going to have a second guy playing significant minutes at point. Will it be Thomas, a new player, or both?

Re: Favorites for All A10 Teams Next Year?

If Marcus Johnson averages 8 rebounds a game it would be a testament to his athleticsm and desire. I just don't see it happening.

The best rebounding guard at X was Romain Sato. He finished his career with over 800 rebounds, Top 10 all-time at X. His best year, I think he averaged 7.8 rpg.

I'll never forget his sophmore(?) year at UD where he put up 19 points and 15 rebounds!

Re: Favorites for All A10 Teams Next Year?

MJ can avg. 8 rebounds a game. Will he have to is the question. With a healthy CW I don't think MJ will have to grab 8 a game. In CW absent I think he avg. close to 7 a game and had a few double digit rebound games.
