Re: Favorites for All A10 Teams Next Year?
No way do I see Marcus ever getting 8 rebounds a game. That is just a massive number that a great power forward has a hard time posting. 15 points per game might not be out of reach by the end of his career, IMO. Marcus could score a lot if he went to the basket all the time like he did in the A10 tournament against Xavier. I felt like X had nobody who could match up with his speed and explosiveness going to the rim. He needs to drive and draw foul contact. That puts all of his strengths together. He can get a first step, elevate, draw contact on the shot, and nail the free throws. That was Roosevelt Chapman's game. Hang in the air and draw contact on the shot.
Marcus is becoming a joy to watch because he can do it all now.
UD is going to be very tough at shooting guard, small forward, and power forward next year. I think Huelsman made an adequate center, and rarely did we give up a big advantage at the position last year. That pg spot will be the key. I think London can do an adequate job at minimum, but even if he is our starter, he can't play a ton of minutes unless he cuts back on his fouls. So, one way or another we are going to have a second guy playing significant minutes at point. Will it be Thomas, a new player, or both?
