I hope that this year is the year I get inducted into the Atlantic 10 posting Hall of Fame.

Once a program is selected by popular vote we should list out their posters in another poll to find out who is the most obnoxious fan. That may not be a great way of doing it. Temple fans are under-represented (much like their attendence at games), but the fans that do show certainly have some moxy and bravado.

It would be hard to not have Guster in a vote for the Most Obnoxious fan. I am accepting nominations now.

I can't decide.

For every crazy person who posts from a particular fan base, there is usually at least one who is objective and not abusive in his delivery. I tend to get more riled up when I read nasty or overly negative posts and, therefore, remember them more. I am also learning that it is very easy to misinterpret one's intent as we read his postings. As a result, I am taking that more into consideration now as I read the posts of others.

But the fact of the matter is that there are a huge number of fair and sensible people who post to this board, ones who provide very interesting and thought-provoking takes. And they come from every program in the A-10 (even Dayton and Xavier!!!).

I just want the team I support to be in a stronger conference. I'd prefer it to be a stronger A-10! To me that would mean every member would have at least 2 trips to the NCAA Tourney and 5 winning seasons during each 10-year cycle. It would also be great for every program to seriously challenge for a league title (either regular season or Tourney) at least once during that same period of time.

Xavier fans are easily the most obnoxious. dayton fans can't really be obnoxious, because when it comes across, it really seems to be pathetic, considering what they have done recently. Nothing.

I voted for Duquesne. I'm telling you some of the stuff AOX writes, is so well thought through, and polite, and well researched, it's obnoxious.

I could have gone with UMass for 87, bdance and of course, the most obnoxious of them all, WH. Who takes the time to write such informative pieces for my personal enjoyment?

I can't complain - everyone on the board that's replied to my often illogical comments has been kind and understanding! And anyone who has not has apparently left me alone! Plus I get to play with all these marvelous smilies

I couldn't help but be honest, so I voted for both Xavier and Dayton (though some Temple and St. Joe's fans are giving the X/UD fans a run for their money). Too many threads about one team are destroyed by the retards of the other team.

With that said, I do think the vast majority of both team's fans are quite good. Some of the good ones are even obnoxious. These are obnoxious but funny, as opposed to the obnoxious and need to die group.

I'm looking forward to "best poster from each school" vote. Flying Elvis has mine already for UD.

Lets put this into some perspective - Winning usually leads to obnoxious bahavior. Naturally X should carry the torch right now.

Dayton on the other hand hasn't really won anything other than A-10 attendance records and they are still obnoxious.

Umass can be more than elietist - although most Umass posters here seem to represent the more reasonable group.

Dayton wins hands down because they don't have a valid reason to be obnoxious right now.
