Re: Scholarship Tree
Survivor :10:
"Terrell Vinson, of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, will take his national top 50 talent to UMass. The 6'6" guard/forward is said to not have the explosive step to the basket that is needed in the ACC. This has led to him not being as heavily recruited by the big schools. The most well known program that had interest was the Terps." Quote UMass might have themselves a true sleeper if this is true... Vinson is said to be the sleeper of the class of '09 PG Gibbs SG Harris SF Vinson PF Lynch C Carter

Re: Scholarship Tree
Alibaba Odd was never offered by SBU. Also, Jake Houseknecht isn't on the list. I tried to fix all of this, but failed miserably. It should be noted that Houseknecht, Simmons, and Leonard all red-shirted in 2008-2009. Raymond Blackburn and Maurice Thomas were dismissed from the team. Bona has three scholarships to fill for 2009-2010.

Re: Scholarship Tree
I updated for Terrell and did not have the heart to delete Parrom fro the Rudderless Ship. Must be a Dayton fan changed it from Xavier. I just noticed it. Nor did I use this link to update the other teams. http://insider.espn.go.com/ncb/recru...e%3fconfId%3d3

http://public.sheet.zoho.com/publish/survivor45/tree To fix some of the loading issues (it was hard for me to work with, too) - I broke it up into two sections. It still takes a long time to load, though. Steve81 - great timing. In the 'tree', I got up to UMass and then got a whopping headache. I have no idea how in the hell UMass distributed their schollies over the past couple seasons and I gave up. So I didn't get to complete URI, Richmond, StL, St.B, St.J, Temple, or X. If you can fix UMass for me, that would be a giant help. |

Re: Scholarship Tree
In what sense is XU rudderless? We have a head coach, and he's hired all but one of his assistants. Most recent hire was Orlando 'Bino' Ranson who was an assistant for Matt Brady at Marist and now James Madison. He's wired into the AAU circuit on the east coast and I imagine you'll all be reading about the fruits of his labors soon enough.
I'm not surprised at the non-stop stupidity from many of the flyer posters on this board but the rest of you tend to be more sensible. |

Re: Scholarship Tree
Blue Dog, I speculated that a Dayton fan changed it and Survivor fixed it. Personally, I'm expecting a small dip in Xavier this year, but still be one of the top A10 teams. Our conference should be really strong going forward. I keep hearing about this great Big East break-up, but personally I don’t see it happening. There is just too much money at stake. They will probably work it out without a break-up of non football schools.
