Re: Xavier recruiting
![]() Brian, welcome to Xavier's system of player/student development. Make yourself feel at home. It's like a big family.

Re: Xavier recruiting
Good luck to Brian. Hopefully he can stay healthy for his last couple of years. At least he got to experience a couple of Sweet 16's and the atmosphere of a winning program. Seems that only 2 teams have the experience of going to the last 3 sweet 16's. That's pretty elite company that he got to be around.

I'm gonna miss that stiff.

Re: Xavier recruiting
Did Walsh seek to leave X on his own, or was he strongly encouraged to get out by the X staff?

It appears Walsh asked for the release. I figured this would be coming soon due to the limited playing time he was given and the talent that is coming in at his position for the next four years.

Re: Xavier recruiting
He was waiting for Bino to be named at Maryland because Bino promised Gary Williams he could deliver Walsh if he got the job.

Re: Xavier recruiting
HAHA, that's good stuff. What's even funnier is that he actually had an offer from Maryland.

Re: Xavier recruiting
![]() The look of shock and betrayal on Brian's face breaks my heart. He just realized that Bobinski would sell his mother for an NIT championship.
