Re: 2/18 A-10 Games
I agree with you that we should have fouled up 3 with 5 seconds to go. I also agree that we dodged a bullet. I don't agree that we deserved to lose. That was a hard fought win against a good team that up to tonight was undefeated at home this year.

Re: 2/18 A-10 Games
hope your dvr caught the end of the game, you obviously didn't see it. i saw a soft la salle team go over the back, shove, use illegal screens, travel in double teams (seriousoly swithing pivot feet isn't allowed), bowl guys over, etc etc. la salle got bailed out more than gm. i'd be willing to bet that block call on esho in a good trap was the worst single call made in any of la salle's games this year. then on umass' very next possession, a guy in worse position gets a charge call that should have been an and 1. game over after that.
ridiculous made 2 at the end by vinson, another inch back and that's play of the year in the a10.

Good point. Did not deserve to lose overall. Hard fought win. Duren with a BIG TIME shot. If LaSalle beats Temple on Wednesday (big if i know) they will get one of the byes.

Re: 2/18 A-10 Games
The effects of that Brawl is the most amazing thing I have ever seen with any team I have ever followed or ever been a part of. This Xavier team f'n sucks now. Season can not end soon enough.
They were never that talented, they were just tough as nails. Now they are soft as tissue. Can't even beat Dayton at home. Pathetic. |

Re: 2/18 A-10 Games
We are resorting to zone defense and playing a 4 at PG. This junk crap is enfuriating. I don't think this team can regain their toughness. Beating Dayton would prove nothing. They suck too.

Dunphy owns the city right now. Can LaSalle or SJU step up? We will see this week. I will say this - The Hawks are due to beat the Owls. Its been way too long.
