re: 2012/13 Rankings, Including Bracketology
It's all going to be dependent on scheduling...If current trends hold true, UMass and St. Joes (two preseason favorites) will have to play @ SLU. I'm not saying my Billikens are (or will be) the better team, but it IS fairly hard to win on the road, especially at Chaifetz. Other similar scheduling quirks could end up deciding the conference...

Umass might have to give up their pre-ordained Nat'l Championship and worry about getting thru this monster A-10 schedule. Holy sheeeeeeet. This is going to be one helluva League this year. Battles Royale !!!! .600 might be heck of a mark.

re: 2012/13 Rankings, Including Bracketology
I don't think Butler will finish in the top 6. I liked them coming in rolling in 2013, but this year is one year too early. VCU has an easier transition with more upper class talent and they're coming from a tough league. Butler is still rebuilding and going from Freshman level to the Varsity.
Right now, I lean: 1. VCU 2. Temple 3. St Joe 4. SLU 5. Dayton 6. Xavier 7. Butler 8. Richmond

I'm still waiting for someone to give me a good reason why I should be confident in them.

re: 2012/13 Rankings, Including Bracketology
We're returning all but the weakest member of our starting lineup, plus bringing back a couple of players who were injured last year? (seriously, Sampson was the wrong Carter to be injured)
The team improved throughout the year, and all the important pieces will be back. Keeping them out of your top 4, that's fine, but out of the top 8? Might be a bit of a stretch with the talent currently on the roster. |

Like e-parade said, putting us out of the top 4 is questionable, but out of the top 8 is downright appalling. If this your actual view, which I don't believe it really is, then you need to get some mental help. Actually who am I kidding, you are a deluded Flyers fan. You probably do believe this junk you're spewing...
