As others said, that list was of Philly schools only. Nothing really to do with the A10 other than that it includes the Philly A10 schools.

Agreed on Braswell being at least in the top 3 big men. Who else do you have in there? Chris Gaston has to be up there. Who else? St. Joe's has a few good ones as I'm sure others do too.

This is a good question...Bonnies' fans are kind of worried about their frountcourt depth and may, for stretches be playing Conger (6'6") or Chris Johnson (6'5") at the 4, and may have Marquis Simmons at 5. It's going to be a bit of a relief if there aren't a ton of great big men in the league, but I'm sure I'm just not thinking of several.

Those are unimportant details when you spend hour after hour scouring the Internet for real and imagined slights against your program and your conference.

Look for a one-year transfer coming into the frontcourt, as it appears Runs isn't going to qualify (but no trouble with qualifying at the BCS schools for re-classified studs, huh?) and will redshirt. Ndoye and Simmons will be a good starting front line, but the current lack of depth could result in a far more wide open style.

I like the small ball look, and we did fairly well (all things considered) with a guy like Jon Hall at the 4, so I'm hoping Conger's been working out.

Also, XavierHoops -- your figures are likely using Milwaukee's arena for this coming season. Through last year, they played at U.S. Cellular Arena for their men's games. For my figures, I included Butler's arena in the A10 average. Without it, the A10's average would be 7,561.
Does it matter though what capacity is? Heck, Butler can only fill 2/3 of their arena.

The other Butler poster was saying how everyone is the A-10 is significantly underestimating what it means to play against sold-out, "white out" arenas every night you are on the road in-conference. And somehow that will help the transition to the A-10. Just pointing out that's blatantly false. Butler played in front of exactly 1 sell out last year in the Horizon. And only averaged 62% capacity in the Horizon.

Not only is the talent Butler will be playing against night in and night out in the A-10 signficantly improve, it will also be different playing in front of 10,155 at Xavier or 12,154 at Dayton or 8,165 at Temple or 7,757 at St Louis or 7,622 at VCU etc etc.

Muddy, who should grow up? X-man47, who you felt the need to scold and tell to grow up was posting in response to the Charlotte poster who complained that Chris Braswell was not included in the All Philly teams.

I actually feel sorry for Muddy. His grip on rationality is tenuous at best.

Re: 2012/13 Rankings, Including Bracketology

It's still amazing to me that the board moderators actually allow an Internet troll to run rampant on this site and do as he pleases. Most message boards put a stop to it right away, but here it's actually permitted. In a way trolling is almost encouraged by the lack of control the moderators have over this site and its users.

I guess in the interest of page views for advertising revenue, they simply don't care. I wish that posters would move the conversation over to sites such as A10Talk.com or somewhere else where the mods simply would not put up with these type of shenanigans. This board was so great when Muddy Waters was banned but now that he's back and disruptive to the majority of the threads to which he contributes, everything has gone right off the rails yet again.
