Re: Non-Conference Schedule
That looks to be the case:
http://www2.timesdispatch.com/sports...-s-ar-1989437/ Otherwise it seems like what I posted above with the addition of what appears to be an away game at JMU. |

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
La Salle has one more game to schedule. Had to scramble to add games after a new exempt tournament that was supposed to be held in Las Vegas around Christmas fell through. Will only be playing 13 OOC games because of it.
OOC.............................RPI Iona..............................48 @ Miami (FL)..................71 @ Bucknell.....................81 Penn............................105 Villanova......................120 Delaware.....................154 Penn State...................160 @ Northeastern............176 @ Siena........................214 Central Connecticut......230 Sacred Heart.................239 @ Hartford....................308 Last edited by LaSalleFan; 06-17-2012 at 08:12 PM. |

1) Wanted to play a game in Hartford for redshirt freshman and Hartford native Rohan Brown (doing the same for Florida native Sam Mills with a two game series starting this year with the game at Miami) 2) This is a two for one deal. Hartford played at La Salle last year and will return again in 2013-14 to complete the deal. |

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
For RPI purposes, road games against horrible teams are good: Road wins count as 1.4 on your record.
You wanna play at horrible teams or great teams, and have decent/not very good teams at home. |

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
Some may have missed that the UR-Florida game isn't happening next year. Word is that it's been pushed back to 2013-14. Instead slot in James Madison for a road game for the Spiders.
Still a tough schedule away from home for the Spiders, but not quite what we thought it might be. |

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
It is now being confirmed that Larry Brown and his SMU Mustangs will visit the Ryan Center in an OOC game. The game is likely to be played in mid to late December. The Rams will return the game in Texas the following season.
Rhode Island's Expected 2012-13 OOC Schedule as of 06-22-12 is now: Home 11-09-12 FRI Norfolk State* 11-23-12 FRI Loyola (MD)* TBD Brown TBD Georgia State TBD George Mason TBD Vermont TBD SMU Neutral 11-17-12 SAT Ohio State* (Mohegan Sun) 11-18-12 SUN Washington/Seton Hall* (Mohegan Sun) Away 12-06-12 THU Providence TBD Virginia Tech (* Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament) Coach Dan Hurley had recently told the Providence Journal that he was still woking on the last few spots. It is thought that there may be four more games given the exempt HOF tournament participation. |

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
Given that they already have seven home games, I would think most if not all will be away games. There is no away guarantee game and Rhody usually plays one each season so that might one. I would also think that URI may want to start some new series on the road to set up some decent home games the following year. I would think low BCS or high mid major type opponents for these games.
