Re: Non-Conference Schedule
Us Bonnies are anxiously waiting for the schedule which is supposed to come out tomorrow. I'm hoping for a decent Rochester game and a moderately challenging OOC schedule.

With the Bracket set, UMass has a chance to improve our OOC slate dramatically. All we need to do is beat Providence and we'll draw NC State in the next round. That's entirely doable. According to that link, UMass is a sleeper pick for the tournament as well. |

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
How's this for an OOC schedule?
AWAY: Texas State, Preseason NIT at Pitt, Harvard, Lehigh, UConn, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss NEUTRAL: Princeton at the new Barclay's, St. John's at MSG HOME: Manhattan, Monmouth, Siena All three home games will be played during Thanksgiving or Christmas breaks. The first game that most students will see at home won't happen until after they come back from Christmas break the third week of January. YIKES! GO RAMS! |

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
Another game for URI is public as Auburn has released its schedule and they will host Rhody 11-25. URI is looking to have an extremely challenging schedule for such an inexperienced team with a new coach. There are now five known games versus BCS league teams (Ohio State, Wash/SHU, PC, Va Tech, Auburn) and games against programs such as George Mason, Rice, and SMU. Even many of the lower conference level opponents such as Vermont, Norfolk State, and Loyola were in the NCAA last season.
Expected 2012-13 Rhode Island OOC Schedule as of 08-14-12 Home 11-09-12 FRI Norfolk State 11-23-12 FRI Loyola (MD) 12-01-12 SAT Vermont TBD Brown TBD Georgia State TBD George Mason TBD Southern Methodist U Neutral 11-17-12 SAT Ohio State (Mohegan Sun) 11-18-12 SUN Washington/Seton Hall (Mohegan Sun) Away 11-25-12 SUN Auburn 12-06-12 THU Providence TBD Virginia Tech TBD Rice Last edited by RF1; 08-14-2012 at 09:05 AM. |

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
What's with Stetson? The Spiders are also hosting the Hatters, but our game is on December 15, so it's not like they're doing a coordinated trip to Richmond to get two games on one trip.
