Non-Conference Schedule
What's your OOC schedule look like for the coming season?
Here's Xavier's up to this point, with (LiveRPI) from last year: Aneheim Tournament Various Teams - Neutral Butler (113) Home Vandy (18) Home Memphis (16) Home Purdue (48) Away Cincinnati (44) Away [they may change this to neutral] Tennessee (86) Away Good teams coming to Cintas because we went to their place first. Still need another good road game, especially if Cincinnati goes neutral. Strong OOC schedule which should help us on Selection Sunday for at-large pick. Travelers site list schools advertising for game. For example, Temple is looking to start H/H with BCS team. Dayton is looking to start H/H at home with BCS/top 75RPI team, plus looking for 3 buy games. http://www.basketballtravelers.com/g...oard/?e_type=1 Go on the road! Play good teams on the road! It can help you dance.

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
uri is also on that travelers site looking for multiple games, but that comes with a new coaching staff and new person doing the schedule. Probably just seeing what is out there and who is willing to play us

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
It was supposed to be even tougher, with Texas at the LC as well, but it was moved to next year.

Hopefully we start seeing some stronger schedules soon...the best we can hope for this year is a couple of decent ones out of the Puerto Rico Tournament. |

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
Enjoy that mess. Glad we're done. Those schools are absolutely worthless and draw less interest locally than my high school would against Temple. They always made us play the weaker MAC teams anyway.

Re: Non-Conference Schedule
Duquesne thus far...
Home: West Virginia (Consol Center) (57) Western Michigan (205) Road: Georgetown (15) [Part of the Legends Classic. We're supposedly at G-Town, but otherwise we'll be at Indiana/Georgia/UCLA] Robert Morris (99) La-Lafayette (185) Rumors have the Penn State (161)/Duquesne series being renewed. If so, it will be on the road this year. Neutral: Pitt (Consol Center) (96) |
