That's what's so sad about this. What he did was embarrassing for sure, but in our culture, driving drunk and getting a DUI is seen as less of a big deal.

It is less of a big deal. When you are driving drunk, you're chances of death are extremely low. When having sex with a hooker, your chances of contracting a fatal STD are relatively low as well. Fact is, the chances of getting an STD are still astronomically higher. What Khalif did was incredibly bad judgement, and he should be punished with being kicked off of the team, or even jailtime, if the problem continues..

I'm sure if prostitution were legalized nationwide, all prostitutes and houses of ill repute would be sure to file all the necessary paperwork to register as legal businesses, stop accepting cash as a payment form and keep very neat and orderly records so they could be taxed accordingly.

Uh...what?

Your chance of dying might not be much when you drive drunk (but it's still more than if you weren't drunk), the problem is that you're a risk for other people.

Having sex with a prostitute is not going to risk the lives of other people. Driving drunk is.

Just like all other small businesses report for their taxes 100% honestly. I'm sure none of these businesses ever cheat on their taxes. Or if they do, that they are never caught and forced to go to jail or pay large fines.

It might be interesting to note other countries where prostitution is legalized, but regulated (there are a lot of countries where this is true). There are also probably still non-legal places operating, and I would guess they are sometimes caught and sent to jail for not having the proper paperwork or paying proper taxes, but that it might still be a little shadier of a business due to human trafficking / slavery gangs sometimes being involved.

Like most coaches, I'm a believer in playing the percentages. You have a much higher chance of catching a fatal, life-taking STD, such as HIV, when having sex with a hooker than you have of getting in a fatal accident when driving drunk. It's more dangerous to have sex with a hooker, sorry.

There's a reason prostitution is more frowned upon in our society than drunk driving. Society is correct. Why don't you get that too? You're in the extreme minority here...

If you're not a troll then I'm not a turtle. Unlike drunk driving, the dangers of having sex with a hooker can be greatly reduced by wearing protection. In Nevada the legal prostitutes have to use protection by law.

Also... Do you really think Temple will be a better basketball team without Wyatt? I definitely would say they are going to be worse, but I didn't watch Temple much last year...
