Re: 2012 NBA Draft
mista, he can be a distributor, but that isn't what makes him special. He wouldn't be an nba level distributor. He is special for the big moment. Can he be good enough to be on the floor for the big moment? Can he be good enough to play 30 minutes in the NBA?
Edit: you must not have been talking to me. My post never suggested that premise. Sorry mista. Last edited by stophorseabuse; 06-22-2012 at 03:17 PM. Reason: Ud pride writer told me I had to or he was going to make me his melon. |

Re: 2012 NBA Draft
Draft Express is the only mock I look at. They have Nicholson going to Cleveland at 24, and Tu Holloway going with the final pick of the second round to the Lakers. No other A10 players.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft
It would be good for the A10 to get as many draft picks/roster pick ups as possible to help our recruiting efforts against the other conferences.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft
From an SI.com article:
Andrew Nicholson, 6-9 forward, St. Bonaventure: "He puts up decent numbers, but he's not a terrific athlete. Somebody is going to be really pleased with this kid. He's got a 7-3 wingspan. He just has a knack for putting the ball in the basket, and that's hard to teach. Reminds me of Paul Millsap." Tu Holloway, 6-foot guard, Xavier: "He probably goes undrafted, maybe the end of the second round. I just don't know what he does." http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...aft/index.html

Re: 2012 NBA Draft
there is no chance that he is drafted but Outerbridge as well as former URI star Delroy James (not this year's draft class) have had multiple workouts with teams. Outerbridge worked out twice for the Celtics.
As a Celtics fan I would love for the C's to draft Nicholson Thursday night. He can learn a lot from Garnett before he takes over for him.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft
It looks like the C's are enamored with Royce White and would take a flyer on Sullinger even with his recent medicals. But AN would be next on their list. So if White or Sullinger gets taken before Boston's picks I would be fairly certain AN will go by #22 at the latest.
Of course, watch Danny Ainge draft some Euro guy at #21 and screw everything up... |

Re: 2012 NBA Draft
OK, heading off to Newark. First stop, the Brick City Bar & Grill for a pre-draft Bona get together, then across the street to the Rock for the draft. I'll be the guy in the brown shirt.
