So much for Muddie's wishful thinkin'

Bobo no gogo

It's not like he's been around for the last 25 years. Even WHEN he leaves X will be fine.

I'm really disappointed that you didn't wait for Muddy to announce this. Even now, he must be feverishly researching these guys. Soon we should expect a bandwidth choking post with links to their HS stats, quotes and pics from their Facebook accounts along with an updated depth chart and "Muddy's Observations".

At least now they can run the 3 on 2 / 2 on 1 fastbreak drill in practice now.

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers

I'm starting to think all of this negative attention will result in Xavier being strong again. It's as if Muddy's hatred of the Muskies is what drives their annual success. The man's feelings of disdain and resentment are so strong that the universe seems to redistribute that negativity to his doorstep.

When you consider that these guys are joining a team that has had so many highly rated recruiting classes in the last 3 years, you have to think that X will be powerful this year.

Squiddy, I can see why you are being such a douche, celebrating on the blows xavier has taken the last 6 months. But until your team does anything worthwhile, just shut the hell up. Seriously.

Endless propaganda from X fans about Rivals stars and recruiting class rankings, and what do we get? Four X walk-ons. Is there a walk-on rating system that Brian Snow is whipping up?

By "we" do you mean Xavier or Dayton?

Xavier gets 11 NCAA tournament appearances in the past 12 years. Reaching the Sweet 16 4 out of the last 5 times (including an Elite 8) plus an additional Elite 8 in the past decade. Add 5 out of the last 6 A-10 championships. Also every single game televised, Nike Elite contract and ranked as Top 20 most valuable program in the nation.

What does Dayton get? A single NCAA win in the past 20+ years. A couple NIT appearances (oh yea, an NIT championship). Oh, and they have those attendance figures Muddy likes to throw. Can't think of much more, though.

So I guess those are the FACTS that lead to the endless "propaganda" from X fans.

No one has ever disputed the facts above, but they are not relevant to the thread topic. This is:

Actually, Xavier has not won an Atlantic 10 Championship in Men's Basketball since the 2005-06 season, and that Xavier team (led by Justin Cage) won the A-10 Championship game in Cincinnati:

Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Tournament (Wikipedia)
The Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament is the Conference Championship tournament in men's basketball for the Atlantic 10 Conference.

I think it's time for Muddy to enter a 12-step program for obsessed wannabe Xavier fans. I can see him standing in front of the room right now saying "Hello, my name is Muddy and I have a few Observations." Indeed.

In all fairness, you'd be upset too if 3 minutes after you blew smoke at WH, he put you right where Welser put you.

Wrong, indeed.

Please stop lying, Muddy.

Next time you are stalking Mack and X players at Cintas, please take note of the banner that reads "A-10 champions" and the years displayed under.
