Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
Looks like Semaj is out for tomorrow's game. Freak accident. May be available if needed. Looks like it is going to be 7 players for FDU and 7 for X. Should be interesting.

I expect X to win this game.....but its probably gonna look like Hickory vs. French Lick.....41-37 final score. Steneger with a triple double. 16 points, 11 rebounds, 10 blocks.....since he is on scholarship of course.

Any way they can play 3-on-3 half court just to limit risk?
That will be one of the strangest opening games you will ever see. Xavier should win because their 7 is still better than FDU's 7, but man... Sent from my DROIDX using VerticalSports.Com App

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
I actually think they are just going to play a couple rounds of HORSE, either that or a couple games of 21. First one to 45 wins this game.

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
I'm just glad the season is starting.
Hell, IU went 1-19 from 3 the other day. And they're picked #1. Is there a river near Bloomington?

Now may be the time to make BASEketball a reality.

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
Xavier 117, Fairleigh Dickinson 75 (ESPN Box Score - November 9, 2012) . . Xavier Musketeers' Shooting: 71% FGs, 62% 3-Pts., 86% FTs. Looks like another NCAA Sweet 16 team. If Semaj Christon had played, Xavier would have stomped Fairleigh Dickinson.

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
Xavier only out rebounded FDU 41-8.
Xavier played really well tonight. The ball movement was excellent. Guys were hitting shots. FDU sucks, yes, but Xavier is still a talented group, and when Christon is back, and then Philmore, Xavier is going to be tough, imo. On a side note, Calipari at UK is giving WAlK-ON Jarrod Paulson a lot minutes tonight!! How is that possible, Muddy?

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
The Latest on Chris Cantino (Shannon Russell, Cincinnati Enquirer - November 9, 2012) Chris Cantino scored a minor victory with the NCAA by receiving permission to sit on the Musketeers’ bench tonight. The next step, if he is indeed eligible, is deciding whether to red-shirt him or play him this year. Cantino, a 23-year-old junior, only has one year of eligibility. "I’m going to ask Chris to use his junior year, his final year of eligibility at the college level, and not earn a degree?" "That’s not how Xavier is," Mack said. Unless Cantino really fights it, the Musketeers will probably play him next season.
