I just want the team I support to be in a stronger conference. I'd prefer it to be a stronger A-10! To me that would mean every member would have at least 2 trips to the NCAA Tourney and 5 winning seasons during each 10-year cycle. It would also be great for every program to seriously challenge for a league title (either regular season or Tourney) at least once during that same period of time.

Almost as bad as the Muddy posts are the 18 immediate responses from Xavier posters containing 1. Irrefutable facts you guys! 2. Calls to simply ignore Muddy or not quote him since they are so evolved that they have him on ignore and don't want to read what he wrote and did I mention that I have him on ignore 3. As much mudslinging as they are decrying.

I love the offseason. Every year Xavier sucks and Dayton is awesome. And then reality sets in around November 15th.

I enjoyed some of those threads, especially the hottest coaches wife thread. I also secretly enjoyed Squidlegs listing of the events that occurred at the UC/Xavier fight. I think that post should be brought back.

Elvis, wasn't Squiddy the one who asked where he could discuss the UC/X fight ad nauseum without all the "aplogists" as he put it? I suggested UDPride where his unhealthy obsession with Xavier would be welcomed. Please pass along my suggestion... he might take it better coming from a fellow UD guy.

What you and the moderators should do instead of deleting the stuff, is just move it into the Smack Thread. That way the people involved can fire back and forth at each other without (hopefully) violating your rules. If some post violates your rules, just delete it. But the rest of the stuff can remain in the Smack Thread for those so inclined to keep flailing away.

Depends upon how you evaluate it. UD wins on gross attendance. Xavier wins on attendance/capacity percentage.

SquidLegs account of the brawl may have been the greateast post in the modern era of basketball chatboards (since 1995). It should be restored so that all the people may gaze upon it's greatness. Anything less is unacceptable.
