The jury will be out until Semaj has a really bad game and then the verdict will be rendered that he is not that good.

On Semaj? No, he's really good. On X as a team....sure it is. Drexel (minus there best player), Drake, Pacific, RMU and D3 FDU dont change my opinion one bit so far about this X team.

You could say the same about everyone though....doesn't surprise me a bit on X record right now considering who you've played.

Uh.....I said record...5-1 doesn't surprise me. I probably would have traded Butler for Pacific but where you sit at this moment would have been a very fair guess.

Really? 5-1 with a loss to Butler would have meant wins over St. Marys and Cal. Did you really expect that?

You do an excellent job of making that fool look foolish, but, then again, he does a good job of that on his own.

Had you told me this is who you would play two weeks ago I would have said you have a very good chance of being 5-1.

By way of Dayton....given who we've played I would have said 5-0 or 4-1.

I seriously don't understand the dayton fan fascination with Xavier. I don't get it. X is by far not the best team in this league this year, yet they don't concern themselves with the "big boys" of this conference for this year. It's asinine.

Hell, I couldn't name 3 starters for dayton. That's how much they concern me. I'm more concerned about the good teams in this league.

And X is 5-1. I'm very happy with that start considering from where we were starting. Now if we can just get Robinson to play a whole game...

Sure you had a clue who X would play in this tourny. It's pretty easy to follow. They started with Pacific then played either St. Mary's or Drexel that's not hard to follow. 3rd game maybe but I don't believe for a minute, that before the season started, you thought X would be 5-1. Nobody had a clue what this team would be like but there wasn't much confidence from anyone outside the players and coach. That's why they were picked to finish 9th. I bet if you re-polled the voters X would be higher.

I would have picked a loss to St Marys but that means you would have beaten Pacific which I would picked leaving you exactly where you before. Not hard to do the math here A10fan.

But you still missed my point. I clearly said had I known this 2 weeks ago I would have said 5-1 was very doable. Clearly it might have been a tougher road had you beaten Pacific and it might have equaled a 1-2 trip....same for UD. Fact is I never once made a numbered prediction on X this year. I simply stated a 7th-9th place finish in A10 play.

I talk to a Xavier fan before and after every game and I have yet to predict to him a Xavier loss this year. Closest I came was butler and I told him anything could happen with X playing at home. I doubt he will back me up here but its the truth.

As for what Paul wrote, I don't see anything dayton related. Are those two guys dayton players? I dunno. Maybe you should get a new phone or something.
