It seems that Xavier experiences more clock malfunctions than any team in the NCAAs.

I just love how it is all luck and the fact that Xavier hasn't played anyone yet. It can't possibly be that maybe some of these kids know how to play basketball.

Xavier Musketeers - RPI Breakdown (CBS Sports) 3 of Xavier's 5 wins are against teams with an RPI Ranking of # 220 or worse. Xavier won all 3 of these games by a margin of 4 points or less. Not impressive at all. Not included in these 3 wins is Xavier's blow-out of RPI # 94 Fairleigh-Dickinson, whose best win of the season is against RPI # 230 Prairie View. Fairleigh-Dickinson picked up a big S.O.S. boost by losing to temporary RPI Top 100 teams. Xavier's only loss so far (to RPI # 80 Pacific) is already looking like a 'bad loss'.

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
X lost one game by 3 to a team that shot 71% in the second half. Guess we didn't bring the Butler "D" that day, but wonder how other A-10 teams would hold up under that barrage. So far so good. Very impressive December slate. Wouldn't have it any other way @ X. Tune up in OOC for Conf. play. We just wanna get better by playing good teams.

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
At least Xavier has a TOP10 win. The cryers best to date is what .........#169 Arkansas St. . Yes, I'm very worried about a 5-1 record and having a team that is playing no where near up to its' potential.

I realize this is a message board and the anonymity allows everyone to be whoever they wish, but there are times I can't determine if all the cutting and pasting and links are tounge in check or if he is really that delusional?
Sure it is very old, but looking the material as comedy, it is marginally funny. OK maybe not. Seriously, picking on X's schedule. Kettle, this is pot, you're black. And irrelevent.

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
Xavier next year playing in the Battle 4 Atlantis. Looks like a pretty good field.
PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas (AP) -- Kansas headlines the field for the 2013 Battle 4 Atlantis. Seven of the eight teams in next year's field were announced Saturday night after No. 5 Duke beat No. 2 Louisville 76-71 in the 2012 title game. Joining the Jayhawks are Villanova, Wake Forest, Tennessee, Southern California, UTEP and Xavier. The eighth team will be announced at a later date. The tournament started in 2011 when Harvard beat Central Florida in the championship game. The games are played in the Imperial Arena, a grand ballroom which is turned into a basketball venue. |
