Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
I'm going to go against the grain here and thank Muddy for all the hard work that goes into his selective RPI posts. Every team will have their peaks and valleys this year - odds are that a triple digit RPI will be a mere footnote by the end of the year for Xavier.

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
Looks like I beat Muddy, Adam, Flyer, Elvis and the rest of the UD crew...
Justin Martin is not playing tomorrow vs Kent St. Has a concussion. Jeff "Splinters" Robinson starting in his place. This Xavier team cannot afford any injuries. Will be interesting to see how Semaj "Sewage" Christon as a freshmen responds to a little bit of adversity and see if he can literally carry the team on his back. With his news, I think we are likely looking at 6-4 with 3 straight losses to Vandy, Kent St and UC. The Vandy loss hurts.

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
Semaj was great tonight for a Freshman but only so-so as Semaj. The stars of the game, from my perspective, were Landon Amos, Brad Redford, and Erik Stenger. Dee Davis made some very important plays as well, but the surprise factor kicked in for Amos and Stenger to be so honored.
Kent State is no slouch. They'll give anybody a good run for their money!

To me that would mean every member would have at least 2 trips to the NCAA Tourney and 5 winning seasons during each 10-year cycle. It would also be great for every program to seriously challenge for a league title (either regular season or Tourney) at least once during that same period of time. |

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
RPI # 180 Purdue beat RPI # 210 Ball State 66-56 tonight. Including tonight's win, Purdue is still the only Big Ten team with a losing OOC record. Best of luck against the Bearcats tomorrow night.

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
Tennessee vs. X should be an interesting game. X needs to rebound from that horrible loss. You would think that Mack could really beat the team over the head with the tape of the last debacle.

Re: 2012-2013 Xavier Musketeers
Pretty funny considering your team's miserable performance over the last 20 yrs. X fans knew it would be a trying yr. after the Mark and Dez departures, but we aren't a bunch of whiners like you. We'll do with what we have this year.
