Three out of four Xavier freshman are on campus now. Semaj Christon, James Farr and Jalen Reynolds have all moved in. The fourth, Myles Davis is expected to arrive shortly as well.

The word is all four will be good to go this coming year.

Also, when the freshman arrive, they get measurements taken.

Semaj was measured at 6'3

James Farr was measured at 6'10" and 230lbs.

Jalen Reynolds was measured at 6'9.5" with a wingspan of 7'5"!!!

20 wins again. 20-17. We get the 20th win in the last game of the NCAA tournament against.....UMass, of course.

To put Jalen Reynold's wingspan in perspective, Anthony Davis measured 6'10" with shoes and 7'5.5" wingspan.

Better make it 20-20 or 23-17. If we end the reg season only playing 30 games, and with only 17 wins, we gonna have to win a-10 tourney.

We had a guy a couple of years ago in Larry Sanders who was 6'10.5" with a 7'5.5" wingspan. He left after 3 years and was drafted 15th overall in 2010 despite not exactly setting the world on fire his last season.

That kind of length will have Reynolds as a pro prospect if he can play even a little bit.

At what level? Yes, at X, I'm sure he'll see time at the center position. If he develops and ends up in the NBA some day, it will be as a power forward.

His natural position is a PF with the ability to step outside and knock down jump shots, like Andrew Nicholson.

It is no secret that Xavier's unquestionable success over the past three years was largely attributable to Jordan Crawford, Tu Holloway, and Mark Lyons (and to a lesser extent, Kenny Frease) - all of whom were signed by Sean Miller.

Brad Redford is now the only remaining Muskie signed by Sean Miller.

Chris Mack's first recruit was senior Splinters Robinson.

Coach Chris Mack And His Staff Secure A Top 20 Recruiting Class (Xavier University - Nov. 11, 2009)

CINCINNATI --- Xavier University head basketball coach Chris Mack announced today that he has received four signed national letters of intent from young men who will be a part of the Xavier team beginning with the 2010-11 season, an impressive list of signees which earned Xavier a Top 20 Recruiting Class ranking by rivals.com and many other experts.

The signees include Jay Canty, a 6-5, 185-pound guard/forward from Oak Ridge (NC) Military Academy; Jordan Latham, a 6-8, 220-pound forward from City College High School in Baltimore, Md.; Justin Martin, a 6-7, 200-pound forward from Mountain State Academy in Beckley, W.Va.; Griffin McKenzie, a 6-9, 220-pound forward from Cincinnati’s Moeller High School.

Muddy, hasn't Shaka Smart and Chris Mack been head coaches at their respective schools for the exact same amount of time? (3 years) So if Mack isn't gonna get credit for 3 NCAA tourney bids, 2 A-10 championships and 2 Sweet 16's in 3 years, then clearly Shaka Smart can't get credit for the Final 4?

At least with Mud being back, all of our entertainment is back on this board.

Muddy and logic don't mix too well. I think all that "Xavier envy" gets in the way of clear thinking.

I hope 5 years from now Muddy is still holding his hat on the fact that the Canty/Latham/McKenzie/Martin class wasn't nearly as good as it was ranked.
