I'm still catching up on my summer reading, but is it too soon to start a 'Dump Butler' movement? I was promised, nay, guaranteed a Sweet 16 appearance. September has barely begun and they've already been downgraded to CBI.

I didn't know they actually met first? I thought they just scheduled a standoing annual presser in downtown Dayton and pulled out one of the pre-printed Dayton Preseason Championship banners. I think about 7 years back McGlade had to buy 10 years worth of them to get a 5% discount.

One was, repeatedly. Guaranteed. But you're right, that's nothing compared to the guaranteed NC I'm reading about from Goodie's Clan. Of course spawn of Goodie is kidding, I think, and the other guy really seems to be sincere.

I'm just about caught up on my reading and I noticed that the Butler guy does a very good job of rubbing their Final Four appearances in Xavier's collective face. So on that basis alone I withdraw my support for any Dump Butler movement.

Edit: I also remember why I keep coming back here. Even in the doldrums of Summer the Bona guys and the Spiders and the Dukes are putting up some funny stuff. Some of it is so subtle you might miss it, but I appreciate it!
