For crissakes - Get over the f-ing fact that a preseason opinion poll includes Dayton coming in behind Xavier (again). I am still (almost 100%) certain that they actually have to play those games to find out what will really happen - right? isn't that why you only have one A-10 actual Championship banner to hang next to the 8 or 9 "Preseason Champ" banners you have claimed? What would be most funny now is that after reading your pissing and moaning about this, that X still finished ahead of your Flyers. NOBODY else seems to care about where X shows up on this list EXCEPT YOU - do I need to spell it out any more clearly! PLEASE GOD somebody quote this so idiot-boy can read this since I am on his (over 100 poster) ignore list.

Of course you do. I think I'll save any prediction I may make until a day or two before the tip off, even if it doesn't cost me anything to make them right now.

In 2009-10 he picked Dayton to win the conference and go to a Sweet 16. They promptly disappointed him at 8-8 and NIT . In 2010-11 he liked them to go to the NCAA. Again NIT. In 2011-12 he put them down to #120 and CBI/CIT. They overperformed to make the NIT. I could understand if he's a little leery.

Re: College Madness Top 144 preview
OMG! Harvard is next after Umass, but they just lost one of their best players last week so Wesler better just redo his entire rankings! His credibility is non-existent! He is a fraud!
What was that muddy? It is Ok to leave harvard right where it is? Oh, Ok, they just need to move X backwards? Oh, ok.. INVALID INVALID INVALID In reply to the post above (paulxu) and specifically to his Muddy Quote - Once again Muddy must be assuming that NO OTHER team has improved from the previous season and that maybe, just maybe, this is still an acccurate accounting for their team.

On the other hand, Welser has now proven to be a hack with no credibility. It is absurd and out of hand to rank St. Joes ahead of us. Less talent, a worse coach, and have proven even less than we have. I just don't get it, I'm at a loss for words.

Muddy arguing with z8 about what is absurd and out of hand.
Priceless.

UMass Record Last year: 25-12
SJU Record last year: 20-14 UMass Postseason Record: 3-1 SJU Postseason Record: 0-1 UMass' Potential NBA Talent: PG Chaz Williams, SF Raphiael Putney, C Cady Lalanne SJU's Potential NBA Talent: SG Langston Galloway, C CJ Aiken UMass' Quality Supporting Cast: SG Jesse Morgan, SF Sampson Carter, PF Maxie Esho, PF Terrell Vinson SJU's Quality Supporting Cast: PG Tay Jones, F Ronald Roberts Jr, PF Halil Kanecevic UMass Coach: Derek Kellogg SJU Coach: Phil Martelli Overall Record Advantage: UMass Postseason Record Advantage: UMass Superior Talent Advantage: UMass Depth Advantage: UMass Coaching Advantage: UMass I understand how a few people could pick St. Joes ahead of us, but to be this unanimous is appalling. The evidence clearly favors UMass. If you have to put a Philly team ahead of us you might as well put La Salle, because they too, are better than St. Joes.
