Re: Chris Mack YouTube Video

I showed this to my sister who is going to be an incoming freshman at Xavier and she loved it. I thought it was hilarious and this song is my guilty pleasure. Much respect to Chris Mack for not taking himself too seriously, I like that. Of course afterwards though I reminded her who the defending A-10 Champs were. Just a little icing on the cake that is our A-10 Championship. I have made her watch teh game on our dvr a couple time just to point out myself on tv and the final score

I love seeing the hot wife in a Xavier shirt. She looks a lot better than in all that Dayton crap Muddy always posts pictures of her in. Granted she hasn't worn Dayton stuff in years, but some people do live in the past.......

She's headed to the right place if you are trying to teach her about A-10 dominance. But that means nothing if you can't get to the Dance and win. That's where the rubber meets the road. I was really happy for Bona, but ecstatic after SLU.

If your a Dayton fan, your only choice is to live in the past. And by past, I mean 40+ years ago. Sad. Sad, indeed.

Xavier Coach Chris Mack and his Family Cover 'Call Me Maybe' (Jeff Eisenberg, Yahoo! - July 27, 2012)

I'm sick of them. You're sick of them. Heck, by now even Carly Rae Jepsen is probably sick of them.

And yet, new "Call Me Maybe" parody videos keep rolling in by the day like waves at the seashore.

Xavier coach Chris Mack and his family added their entry to an ever-growing illustrious list that includes everything from the Harvard baseball team, to SMU women's rowing, to USA Swimming.

How many Division I head coaches would do a song-and-dance number to a pop song?

And how many of them would film it and put it on YouTube?

If there's a hidden message to the parody — and like all pop song parodies it isn't subtle — it's that Mack would like recruits to call.

Hopefully prospects interested in Xavier have better taste in music than their potential future coach but they appreciate his enthusiasm nonetheless.

I'll give you Buzz Williams, Tom Izzo and Bill Self, but the list might not get far into double figures.
Muddy seemed to omit this piece of the article. I'll take that company any day of the week.

HAHAHAHA.... Muddy, you never cease to amuse me. When was the last time Archie Miller or Brian Gregory was lumped in the same class as Buzz Williams, Tom Izzo or Bill Self for ANY reason?

By the way, if ANYONE needs further proof why nearly every single topic becomes a Xavier v. Dayton discussion, look no further than the past 24 hours when Muddy was allowed to start posting again.... There was NOTHING like this the past month. I would suggest banning him permanently but the comedy he provides is too good.

Xavier is on this level_________________________________

Dayton is on this Level____________________________________

Notice the difference. One is a nationally recognized program while the other is a regionally known program. One team has Top tier talent coming in to contribute while the other has rejects of their previous teams to try to get play together.

Xavier for the near and far looking future, is the superior program. Sadly most Dayton fans whom have their heads up their behinds keep trying to dispute this. How unfortunate.

Re: Chris Mack YouTube Video

Why would you want a signature line that reminds everyone that your opponent with its recruits in the last 3 years has been to 3 NCAA's, including 2 Sweet 16's...while in that same 3 year time frame your team has been to only....actually your team hasn't been at all?

You mean like 4 Dayton fans? Because of the 20 or so UD fans who post here with any regularity, 16 or 17 of us post normal, reasonable, sometimes intelligent stuff. We don't spend our days digging up dirt on anyone, let alone Xavier.

If you want to have a circle jerk with Muddy, go ahead. But please stop pretending he is "most" Dayton fans. He is not. He is an internet troll. I don't know why he chooses to spend so much time fishing for reactions from people he will never meet, but he does. And he's very good at it. You people bite the hook every damn time. I hear "Yakety Sax" every time I read one of these threads.

Here's another idea. Don't respond to him, don't quote him, and unless you really mean it when you say he provides some "comedy" for you, put him (along with his weird sidekicks) on "Ignore".

People like Muddy remind me constantly how some people can be so simple minded and biased for no other reason then they hate someone/something else

Re: Chris Mack YouTube Video

It's a shrewd move on Mack's part.

It helps to solidify the Mickey Mouse Club image that helps to attract the demographic he is recruiting.
