You guys really need to work on your facts. UC player voted the dirtiest player in the country and Mick is the dirtbag coach of this team. Thought everyone was aware of this but, oddly, they're treated like Saints on this board. haha

MudFlap, that was actually meant as a knock on UC. As in they are involved in so much controversy that they have to apologize all the time. Hence my use of versed and repetition.

The "attitudes" of the two schools? One school had a student-athlete sucker punch an opposing player and a second student-athlete stomp on an opposing player while he was on the floor. Maximum punishment? 6 games (same as max. Xavier punishment). Yea, UC's "attitude" was much better.

One of them got kicked out of school. 3 of them graduated from what I know. Lyons had to have graduated since he will be eligible to play immediately at Arizona.

Not sure what your "and such" refers to. If you are referring to the "brawl", give me a break. There was a sports related fight and some initially non-contrite and immature comments. Guys acting tough. That was bad publicity for the program, but overall it was classic example of the media making a mountain out of a molehill and the public eating it up.

Xavier always goes to the NCAA tournament, and almost always makes some noise while there. Projecting anything less than that this season feels like folly.

It was Frease that broke the decrepit fountain. If that doesn't say "gangsta" I don't know what does. The beauty of ALL of these threads is reading how joyful the cryer fans on here are about something that doesn't even involve them. In fact, they all seem to involve a program that has dominated them for as long as most of them have followed college bball. They can't even wait to see if they start winning or finish higher than Xavier for once because they can't take that chance and miss out on this golden off-season opportunity. It may never happen again.

Probably still unlikely to happen, and with VCU and Butler on board, their Dance chances are nil. So, as usual, they got the pre-season and the early "bunny" schedule to hype. The Usual "Bobblehead scores 30 on Walsh" - he's the best C in the nation!!!!!
