Re: ALL-LEAGUE PICKS
I can clearly see that graduating 4 seniors, having a player sent packing, and losing 2 freshman to eligibility issues drops you to the celler in everything.
We will sneak up on somebody though.

I can't speak for VCU, but I'm sure there are a lot of other teams that will want to get a little payback in for wins Xavier has racked up over the last several years. It's a unique situation for sure, but regardless of how thin or inexperienced X is, I'm sure there is plenty of motivation from the rest of the A-10 to take advantage of it. God knows it won't last long.

Re: ALL-LEAGUE PICKS
In my opinion, except for a few standout star players, this is the toughest list to predict in the pre-season.

Re: ALL-LEAGUE PICKS
WH, it's depressing to see no X players even mentioned on your list, but I cannot object. The players who had a shot at the list slipped through Chris Mack's fingers. It's sad to see our top returning scorer averaged 4 points per game. I'm bracing myself for a tough season.

Re: ALL-LEAGUE PICKS
Haha, I could see Xavier beating us at the Cintas, as they will a lot of teams in this league because the Cintas is one of the more difficult places to play in the league.
But, top 25 Xavier teams have came into Charlotte and lost against terrible Charlotte teams. This year's team is a bit more experienced than ones we've had in the past. The league itself is very good from top to bottom, so I'm not predicting an upper half finish for us, but we should give some teams trouble this year, especially if Braswell can stay health and out of foul trouble. Xavier is still no slouch, don't sleep on them, losing Reynolds, Wells, and Davis were big blows though. |

Re: ALL-LEAGUE PICKS
WH, thank you thank you thank you! When you come around we actually talk basketball around here!
And how balanced is the a10! First 9 players in WH's rankings all from different teams, and only one double in the first 14. That's 13 teams represented in the top 14. Z-8, do you actually attend any games at the Mullins Center? I'd like to check out if you are for real. Last edited by uz2b-len; 09-30-2012 at 06:42 AM. Reason: punctuating |

Re: ALL-LEAGUE PICKS
You make a great point internet sleuth. The zaniness of screen names is directly related to true/false fanhood. Can you help me identify other fake fans here by analyzing their screen names?

And yes, I have attended games at the Mullins Center. It's hard for me to make it down there often, but I still made it to two games at the Mullins last year, and one at the Cage. The two at the Mullins were St. Joes and St. Louis. So yes, I watch my own team. Is that puzzling to you?

Re: ALL-LEAGUE PICKS
You only attended three games? I thought you were a student at Umass? Or have your graduated?
