Re: A-10 Media Day today at Barclays Center in Brooklyn
I think the prediction for Xavier might be a little high. The scary part for the A-10 is that Xavier can pull a Temple this year and lose most to all of their OOC games and then win a lot of games in conference. I firmly believe, while not up to Xavier standards, the Xavier team you see in February will not be the Xavier team you see in November.

It appears that a 15th-place finish would be a moral victory for the Mighty Dukes.

That's an amazingly balanced schedule.

Re: A-10 Media Day today at Barclays Center in Brooklyn
Ouch. The A-10 coaches, semi-knowledgeable publications and informed fans are all picking Dayton to finish on average in 9th place.
It appears that an 8th-place finish would be a moral victory for the Mighty Flyers. |

It's looking more and more like ol' 8-8 is there to stay.

That's PYP funny - Muddy you are the only one with Dayton in the top half of the conference (never mind 2nd place)!

Re: A-10 Media Day today at Barclays Center in Brooklyn
Richmond's conference SOS should be incredible. I don't think I have ever seen anything like that road schedule before. Hadn't looked at the schedule much yet. Swiping some road games could really be a huge RPI boost for the Spiders.
Hopefully statheads will be more involved in sorting out things like this where unbalanced schedules lead to huge home/road discrepancies and W/L records (and conference standings) are totally not the reflection of a team's quality.
