UMass Game Time
Can any of the UMass fans out there tell me why the game time has not been set for the Richmond @ UMass game on Sunday, January 27th? And does anybody know when it is anticipated that the game time will be set?

All of the other game times in Amherst have been set, except for the Elon game. Curious.

Don't know but there are three Sunday games and only the Fordham away game is set at 4PM. This could be the weekend students return to campus, so hoping for a 4PM game as well. This link is not the official link, but UMassHppos wiki link and a good place to check.

Thanks for the link! I checked the UMass Student Calendar, and it appears that classes start for the Spring Semester on January 22nd, so that's probably not it. I also thought that TV might be playing into the delay, but the conference TV schedule seems to have already been set.

Does UMass ever play a conference game as it's Springfield game? Could they be considering swapping Elon for UR for that game? Is that a possibility?

UMass has played A10 games in Springfield in the past (Dayton a couple of years ago) but I haven't heard any talk of which one will be played there this season. I would think it would be one of the intersession games (Eastern Michigan, Duquesne or GW), but that's only a guess. I suppose it would depend on the availability of the MassMutual Center (e.g. conflicts with the AHL team.)

I assume by intersession, you mean between semesters. Duquesne is already scheduled for TV, so I assume that wouldn't be changed. The others, who knows.

But, haven't you guys heard anything on what they might be working on that would cause the delay in setting this game time?

I haven't heard anything and I haven't had a chance to ask anybody in the Athletic Dept. I know they're trying to add one more game to the schedule and I think that's been taking up a lot of their time.
