Re: CBS Sports Top50 PG's
As many as Dillard has so maybe they should both be at #42.

Well...we will revisit this when Semaj doesn't even land you a 9-7 record in A10 play this year which he should do based on this list and your standard of ranking Dillard.

Re: CBS Sports Top50 PG's
I'm not convinced that X can't go at least 9-7 this year. Haven't played a game yet but I'm sure you and Muddy will have fun re-visiting all these pre-season prognostications. I prefer to live in reality.

Unfortuantely, all Dillard could muster was a good stat line, NIT first round beatdown and middle-of-the-pack A-10 finish.

A10fan brought up Dillard's NIT. Semaj better at least do that and 9-7 or better this year for A10fan to be right. I think he will put a lot of points because there is probably two other options besides him. Would anyone THIS season take Semaj over Dillard? I would like to see another fan from another team weigh in on this. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using VerticalSports.Com App Last edited by Flyer75; 10-23-2012 at 08:34 AM. |

Re: CBS Sports Top50 PG's
I'm more worried about why a guy like Nate Wolters is ranked so high. CBS writers love shiny objects, apparently. Just put up a ton of shots against a terrible schedule, hit some, and media narrative will take on a life of itself. The guy is nowhere near an elite level talent.
Same goes for Ray McCallum. Can't shoot the three, and less than a 2 to 1 assist/turnover ratio? No worry, you're the 11th best PG! Rotnei Clarke is not a top 20 PG. That 1 to 1 assist/turnover ratio is legit! Elijah Johnson at 14 is a joke. He's top 5. Sometimes I wonder if the CBS stable of writers has ever watched a game of basketball.

You were the one who couldn't believe Semaj was only 5 spots behind Dillard.

Just to be clear Muddy, Williams was more productive in points, steals and assists per game (including almost twice as many steals). And just to put a little perspective on it, if you look at the true +/- ratio (team productivity when that player is in the game) you boy was ranked #27 at a +4.3, while Chaz was ranked #3 at +7.3 (in conference). But, congratulations on that ONE GAME KD got the best of Chaz..... Yes - one night does not a season make... Right?
